Over the past several years, the Westland Foundation has been concentrating on the establishment of a unique Scholarship Program and has been raising funds for an Education Fund to finance the program.

Our three main fund-raising activities are our annual Westland Foundation Carnival, our ProAm Golf Tournament, and our Westland Foundation Annual Breakfast. 

The Fourth Annual Breakfast was held on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre from 7:30 am to 9 am.   Approximately 500 people attended. The highlight of the Breakfast was the quest speaker, Sherman Kreiner, CEO of Crocus Investment Fund, who spoke on what the Westland Foundation means to the Community. Attendees had the opportunity to meet some of the students who will benefit from the Education Fund's scholarship program. Many thanks to the Winnipeg Convention Centre and to Corpav Presention Group for their support of the Annual Breakfast.

The breakfast not only assists the Westland Foundation in its important work, but provides the business and corporate community an opportunity to network.  Companies or organizations who purchased tables of 8 for $300 received signage on the table and a tax receipt of $200.
